Help for Victims of Typhoon Carina
25 July 2024 03:00PM
The Rotary Club of Guiguinto Centerpoint stepped up in the aftermath of Typhoon Carina to provide essential support to those affected. Our dedicated team in cooperation with Amboy's Restaurant, distributed bottled water and lugaw to evacuees at Dr. Felipe De Jesus National High School in Brgy Agnaya, Plaridel, Bulacan, providing them clean drinking water and nutritious food during this difficult time.
In addition to assisting the evacuees, we extended our support to the barangay tanods of Brgy Sto Niño, Brgy Lalangan, and Brgy Agnaya in Plaridel, who played a crucial role in the initial relief efforts. These local heroes were among the first to assist the evacuees and received bottled water and lugaw to sustain them as they continued their vital work. We also provided aid to the TODA in Primark Plaridel.
We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and support those in need. The resilience shown by everyone involved underscores the true spirit of Rotary and our commitment to Rotary's motto "Service Above Self".
